Field.identities()[source]

Return all possible identities.

The identities comprise:

  • The “standard_name” property.
  1. The “id” attribute, preceeded by 'id%='. TODO
  • All properties, preceeded by the property name and a colon, e.g. 'long_name:Air temperature'. TODO
  • The netCDF variable name, preceeded by 'ncvar%'.
  • The coordinate type (one or none of 'X', 'Y', 'Z', 'T').
